POEMS...

Crap! I suffered an ignominous defeat. Who beat me? It is really unorthodox. Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj. That TribalWars addict actually beat me. Ai ya... Ok nevermind. Sometimes we bask in glamour and revel in prosperity, sometimes, well, simply abysmal. The callousness of the society nowadays, especially workplaces, seem like eldritch, cold hard battlegrounds. Battle of minds. Battle of talents. Capitalism. Yes, that's it. Capitalism. What else? Now we see a repetition of wars. No, not bloodbaths, but of competition. I am not referring to wars like esurient Adolf Hitler wanting the conquer...well, other countries, but of friends, acquaintances, backstabbing one another. WAIT... This isn't about poems is it? Digression... Back to our topic at hand. POEMS! AH. CRAP! How could I have gotten only 15/20? !@#!@%@#!%!@# Let's analyse the case we have. I'm very sure I devoted a lot of time into the poems, so why did I miss 4.0 by 1 mark? Was it because I anyhow scrawled and fabricated some random poem? Was it because the teacher didn't think enough? NO! It was because I didn't devoted ENOUGH time into it, which is practically impossible, because I started working on it the day the PT was given out. PT is short for performance task. Digress... Let's continue talking about the cold society we live in. Oh nevermind, once I think of a poem, I can't NOT write it. Here goes~
The elixir of life.
Is tasted by everyone.
Everyone's strife
to be equal.
Then comes capitalism.
And then communism,
By Karl Marx.
But have we actually considered,
These terms,
What exactly are they?
Why were they created?
Ideals?
Where were they stated?
The feels?
Social stratification,
The bifurcating of people,
May seem enlightening to some,
Horrifying to some,
Boorish to some,
The elixir of life.
Is tasted by everyone.
Everyone's strife,
To be equal,
Has dissipated.
